• Emdash was founded in 2011 by freelance writer, website, graphic, and web developer, Brian J. Smith.
  
  Born and raised in Cape Breton, Nova Scotia, Brian now lives in Quispamsis, New Brunswick. He attended Mount Saint Vincent University in Halifax, Nova Scotia from 2007 until 2011, studying English Literature and Writing. His areas of interest include: Creative Writing, Medieval Studies, Modernism, Poetry, and Post-Modernism.
• With twelve years of experience in website, graphic, and web development, Brian has seen the online design and web development community — and its technologies — prosper. His methodology ensures that he delivers on time, to budget, and to meet and exceed expectations time after time. Emdash utilizes the newest and most user-friendly web development technologies available. In addition, emdash offers a wide-variety of services, including: graphic design and corporate branding.
• Brian is currently twenty-four years old and attends New Brunswick Community College for a Diploma in Pharmacy Technology. As well as being a freelance website, graphic, and web developer, he is also a freelance writer, offering professional writing services upon request. He continues to be an active Alumnae of Mount Saint Vincent University.
